Sourdough Bread

1 c Proofed sourdough batter**
1/2 c Water
1 tb Sugar
1 ts Salt
3 c Bread flour
2 ts Active dry yeast
Proofed Batter:
1 c Starter
1 c Flour
1 c Warm water


To make the proofed batter - add ingredients and use when it gets nice and active.

Put all ingredients in bread machine in order listed. Set machine for either regular or rapid cycle. Press start. Note: For a tasty sourdough pesto loaf add 2 tablespoons of pesto, 1 large clove garlic (pressed) and 1/4 cup pinon nuts.
