Bran Bread

1 1/8 c Tap water
2 5/8 c All purpose flour
3/8 c Wheat bran
1 1/2 ts Salt
3 tb Sugar
1 1/2 tb Butter
1 1/2 tb Dry milk
1 1/2 ts Dry yeast (BREAD)
2 ts Dry yeast (BREAD RAPID)

Makes 1-1/2 lb loaf. Place ingredients in pan according to manufacturer's directions. (Hitachi wants liquids, flour, then yeast) Place pan in machine, press start.

**NOTE** Fry the wheat bran in a pan a 320F until they brown slightly (about 10 minutes) then allow to cool before they are used.
