Greek Christopsomo Anise Bread

2 1/4 ts Yeast
3 c Bread flour
1 ts Anise seed -- crushed
3/4 ts Salt
4 tb Sugar
4 tb Nonfat dry milk powder
3 tb Unsalted butter
3/4 c Water
2 lg Egg
1 ts Lemon juice


Glaze:
1 c Powdered sugar
1/2 ts Anise extract
3 ts Water -- or more


Add all ingredients except those for glaze. Use basic cycle. While the bread cools to room temperature prepare glaze. Glaze cooled bread on top and sides. Let dry before slicing.
