Butterscotch Whole Wheat Bread

3 tb Butter
3/4 c Brown sugar
2 1/4 ts Active dry yeast
1 3/4 c Bread flour
2 tb Bread flour
1 c Whole-wheat flour
3 tb Powdered milk
3/4 ts Salt
3 tb Sugar
1 Egg
3 tb Oil
1 c Water

Cook the butter and brown sugar together over medium-low heat until the sugar bubbles and melts. Let cool. Add the brown sugar mixture and all remaining ingredients in the order suggested by your manual. Bake on the basic bread cycle.
